Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine is fulfilling its historical mission today – training veterinarians for almost all regions of Russia and for other countries. In the North-Western region of Russia the University is the leading educational institution for the training of veterinarians.

Currently, the faculty has about 3,000 students.
